Abstract

This first volume of Readings in Philosophy and Science Studies from the Department of Philosophy and Science Studies at Roskilde University serves two purposes: (1) To give students, current and prospective, an idea of the research profiles of the faculty, and (2) to provide other scholars in philosophy and science studies with ditto. The volume includes articles written by the faculty members with topics ranging from ethics over phenomenology to logic. Information concerning the Department, its various activities and contact information are to be found in the appendix. The Department envisions such a volume to be published every year.
