In 2014 the European Union will launch the 8th framework programme for research and innovation HORIZON2020 in order to secure Europe\u2019s global competitiveness and to create jobs and growth. Horizon 2020 will focus on societal challenges, industrial leadership and internationalisation. The conference at Copenhagen Business School (CBS) will focus on the role, that Social Sciences and Humanities play both in connection to Horizon2020 and in a wider context.<\/p>\n

Representatives from the European Parliament, the European Commission, the industry, and the Danish Ministry for Science, Innovation and Higher Education will take a closer look at the development of Horizon2020 and the possibilities for Social Sciences and Humanities in the new programme.<\/div>\n
The conference is targeting policy makers, stakeholders from the industry, authorities and universities, researchers and research administrators and journalists.<\/div>\n
